ABOUT MEARTIST Self-taught painter, draughtsman, writer and poet I mostly convey my vision by means of acrylic paint, charcoal, pencil or ink drawings and mixed media.
I try to get viewer involved in an alternative and disrupted scene of our surrounding world. Pseudo-organic shapes are combined underneath an abstract perspective resting on composition and decomposition strategies, on juxtaposition of shapes. My artworks turn out to be two-dimensional chromatic representations. Nowadays I reside in the North of Spain, a beautiful area where I find inspiration and strength to create my own art works. |
«Art is my driving force.

PORTFOLIORecent Works Recently I have been looking for new shapes and new surfaces to develop my particular abstract visions. Cardboard and foam core board become very suitable materials for acrylic painting.
Attaching fabrics and playing around with geometrical shapes could be part of a new series within my work as I enjoy its final result. Hope you like it too. |

Colour Escape
My most recent work you find it in here. I have been mixing media trying to obtain a juxtaposition of shapes, colours and textures running away from each other like in a musical fugue or a colour escape.
Playing around with ways of painting and attaching fabrics allows new options within the two-dimensional space but kind of enhancing it further. An interesting approach for more research and development in future works. |
